Dr. Agle is currently Chief of Surgery at Moore County Hospital District and is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery and a fellow in Surgical Oncology and Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Surgery.
Dr. Agle joins us from Galveston, TX where he practiced at the University of Texas Medical Branch after completing his Categorical Surgical Residency at the East Carolina University, Brody School of Medicine.
Dr. Agle is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the Society for Vascular Surgery, the Southeastern Surgical Congress, the Christian Medical and Dental Associations, the Society of Surgical Oncology, the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons, the Americas Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association, and many more professional and scientific societies.
While practicing at UTMC, Dr. Agle lectured on biliary disease, was a facilitator for the General Surgery Resident Teaching Conference and General Surgery Resident Workshops on Minimally Invasive Surgery and Bowel Anatomosis, and performed Regular OR and Clinical Teaching and Training for Residents and Medical Students.
